Lasagne A La Fry’s

| 1 Pack | Fry’s Vegetarian Mince |
| 5 ml | Olive Oil |
| 200 g | Onion |
| 450 g | Lentils |
| 900 g | Diced Tomatoes |
| 5 ml | Salt (To Taste) |
| 5 ml | Pepper (To Taste) |
| 1 Box | Lasagne Sheets |
| 5 Tblsp | Flour |
| 100 g | Butter |
| 1 Lt | Milk |
| 300 g | Brinjal (Optional) |
| 5 ml | Curry Powder |
| Method |
Saute half an onion (chopped) in a table spoon of olive oil. Add 1 tsp of curry powder. When onions are glazed, add one packet of Fry’s Vegetarian Mince, reduce heat. Add a tin of diced tomatoes, add a tin of lentils (optional) and another tin of diced tomatoes. Add 1 teaspoon of salt and ground black pepper to taste. Add fresh oreganum or mixed herbs. Cover pot and remove from heat.
Prepare a white sauce using a litre of milk, some butter, 5 to 6 table spoons of flour and salt and pepper to taste.
Layer the mince mixture at the bottom, layer with lasagne sheets, a layer of raw brinjal (optional), a layer of white sauce, a layer of lasagne sheets and topped with another layer of white sauce. Let stand for an hour or two before sprinkling with cheese. Place in oven at 160 degrees and cook slowly till cheese has melted and formed a crust.
