    Thanks so much for awesome products! I became a vegetarian years back due to animal rights reasons. Its the proudest decision and achievement for me, because I have always loved the taste of meat, but felt guilty that an animal suffered for me to be able to eat. Its a constant battle to find a good variety of food I can eat and enjoy. I love your products because I can still enjoy foods that taste like meat, and they are so delicious. Thanks for the new pie range, I always missed my pepper steak pies and your new pies taste EXACTLY like the pepper steak ones I used to love!!! Please keep up the good work! i am hoping you soon make something that tastes like fish!

    Just tried your ‘chicken’ strips and they were utterly delicious! The texture reminded me a bit of general tao chicken, where it’s crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside – so satisfying! I just threw them in a stirfry with sugar snap peas, broccoli and red peppers, with a little teriyaki marinade, chili flakes and pepper. So simple, yet so tasty! What I love most about the strips, aside from their texture, is that the flavour is good enough that you don’t need extra sauce or seasoning if you don’t want to go to the trouble.

    I am by no means a vegetarian, in fact very far from it. I grew up in a family who loves meat and it has formed part of my diet for the last 35 years and I doubt whether that will change any time soon.

    About a year ago my wife and I decided to try some of your products, and since the first try it has become a regular addition to shopping list. Most recently I tried some of your Pepper Steak Style pies and I think that it is better than some of the real meat pies have tasted.

    Only thing I can say is: “Good job!”

    Since I can remember I was not a massive fan of meat and would look at your products and be very skeptical about the taste of your products.
    I can gladly say your products are devine.

    I am now a vegetarian for a couple of months and really enjoy your products. I have just made cottage pie from your mince and It tastes better the beef mince!

    My fridge is filled with your products and my 2yr old enjoys tgem too let alone my husband.

    Thank you thank you, for making my life easier and my meals more delicious and healthier and guilt free.

    As a teen vegan it sometimes puts a lot of pressure on my family to get food that I can actually eat but since I’ve been eating Frys products, my family have started too! They can’t believe that it’s not actually meat and when my friends visit they complement my cooking (ha!) and how delicious it is, and even spread the word to their families. Gorgeous food guys, best vegetarian food out there.

    Frys must be congratulated for the recent introduction of their pies. This product is an exciting inventry by Frys and provides an imvaluable menu with good aroma and flavour to my family and I.

    Please advise as to when a Frys Soya Fish will be introduced. I have tried some exciting receipes using your opposition product, not good for Frys.

    The concept of Frys vegetarianism is no secret to my family. We enjoy overwelming support of Fry’s Products.Various products from Fry’s are not only a delight to us but our grandsons enjoy your delicious variety. I as a housewife continuously introduce recipes for my family to enjoy and trust your products. I would love to share a recent delight I introduced with Fry’s Braai Sausages:-

    BATTER FRIED FRY’S BRAAI SAUSAGES
    500g Fry’s Braai Sausages
    500ml (2cups)Gram Flour
    1.5ml pinch bicarbonate of soda
    5ml Salt(or salt to taste)
    5ml.baking powder
    5ml.roasted coriander(dhanya) seeds(crushed)
    10ml.roasted cumin(Jeera)(crushed)
    5ml chilli powder
    5ml crushed garlic
    2.5ml. Lemon/garlic powder
    2 tablespoons fresh dhanya finely chopped
    About 500ml cold water
    Oil for deep frying
    Method
    1.Thaw sausages. Slice each sausage in half diagonaly and horizontaly to obtain four segments.Keep aside.
    2.Sift gram flour, baking powder, salt and bicarbonate soda in a mixing bowl.
    3.Add spices, garlic and dhanya.
    4.Pour water gradually whisking with a baloon whisk until you obtain a smooth batter.
    5.Heat oil in a large frying pan or Deep Fryer to 180*C.
    6.Dip each sausage segment into batter and deep fry into a reddish golden colour
    7.Drain with a slotted spoon onto absorbent kitchen paper.
    8.Serve as a starter and enjoy!!!

    Hi there

    I became a vegetarian at the beginning of last year and would like to thank the people at Fry’s for making the transition so easy – the Fry’s range is so delicious (particularly the Braai Flavour Sausages and the Chunky Strips which are a staple in my freezer – I dream about the Braai Sausages!), it has made the lifestyle change so seamless!

    I had a decidedly non-vegetarian Christmas and, after a week of eating meat again, I felt so unhealthy – I was CRAVING Fry’s! Even my fiance, who is a non-vegetarian, prefers Fry’s to meat on any given day.

    Once again, I would just to say thank you for the excellent products you produce and congratulate the Fry’s team on a job well done!
