Veggie Mince and Feta Pastries
1 box Fry’s Meat Free Mince
1 Block Danish Feta, to taste (optional)
1 Large Onion, finely chopped
Coriander, finely chopped
Mint, finely chopped
Chillies, finely chopped
Mixed Herbs to taste
Pour oil into a frying pan and when the oil is hot fry onions until transparent. Add mixed herbs and fry for 3 seconds to extract the flavour. Add the meat free mince and fry, Halfway through frying, add the crushed garlic & chillies, and fry until done. Turn off the heat, add the mint and coriander. Remove from the heat and add the feta pieces into the mince and mix.
Allow the mixture to cool,before making the pastry.
Lay out the pastry and add spoonful mixtures and roll into mini pastries (4 to 5 cm pieces). You can brush them with milk or egg. Then place in the oven at 180°C for about 15 to 20 minutes or until puffed up and almost golden colour.The recipes on this website are not endorsed by Fry’s.
